Caught in the middle...

Wasnt able to make it for Thur bible class.. Had to stay back and settle some stuff with my major.. there was quite a heated up confrontation today.. i wasnt involved of cos.. maybe not yet.. haha but it was between my major and another captain from another branch within the same dept. Basically what happened was that my major wrote an email to this chief clerk from the other branch (RAO branch).. somewhat of a slamming email, scolding her that she wasnt responsible for doing her job and pushing the work back to our branch.. This was becos my major entrusted her with the task of retrieving some data 2 weeks back..

Well she did the intial work of contacting a few ppl for the data.. but later she asked me to follow up on one of them and i agreed to call that guy up.. i din mind la.. just a phone call.. but my major thought differently.. He din agree with what had happened and thought that i was made to do the work.. that the work was pushed back into my court, that we were doing their job while we were only suppose to consolidate the data.. Yar so the captain from their branch came over la.. trying to defend his chief clerk.. I was one of the points of their tense discussion la.. as i said earlier i agreed right.. haha guess that was a mistake..

Anyway i felt my major shldnt have been so rash la.. i thought officers were supposed to have the big picture in mind.. to be constructive in their actions.. what use would it be to stir bad blood between the 2 branches when we still needed their help in future.. On the other hand was kinda grateful that apparently he was trying to sort of protect me ? or so it seems.. maybe he just din like the chief clerk's attitude of doing things.. Don really bother la.. im not in the line of fire.. Office politics can be that scary.. It just sux big time..

Yeah Azrul came by my house last nite.. played winning eleven.. power la.. its always fun playing ps 2 with a human competitor la.. instead of just playing against the computer.. In a flash 2 or 3 hrs just passed us by.. so gota stop ar.. at ard 1 am.. otherwise nxt day sure die.. Yep.. i think ive been slacking with regards to my teaching assignment .. haven prepared my lesson yet .. although ive read thru what im supposed to teach.. This sunday its going to be book of esther.. 10 chapters.. quite simple.. wonder what lessons i can draw from that.. How esther? Your book leh..? haha
